HONEYTRAP OF FREE WIFI

We all used public wifi, free of cost more than once.Maybe it's metro, airport,cafe, your institution or somewhere else.

It may be taken as a free service of the corporation by many people, but there might be someone trying to seek your passwords and some of your personal information. This type of attack is known as man in the middle attack. 

"the problem with the wireless transmission of data is that the waves are travelling through air so anybody having a receiver can have this information"

It might be disturbing to know that majority of the people prefer Wifi over good food.

If you really want to use the public Wifi some of the
basic things one should avoid to not get bluffed:-
1. Do not login or ever use something that ask for your personal details.
  Use facebook but don't login there you might use your data pack to login then further you can use the Wifi for browsing.
2. Never ever make a transaction on a public wifi, even if your best friend asks you to do so.

3. Better use a VPN, if possible, this will encrypt your data such that one cannot see what you are browsing.
 it's not always necessary to buy a premium one but you can also use some of the free VPN services, simply download from the playstore. (search playstore- geckovpn)

4. It is always recommended to browse https secured websites.
    you can check this in your address bar.
HTTPS stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secured.
 for example:- https://google.com     this site is secured.
                       http://google.com       thsi site is not secured
 the data moving on the https websites is encrypted such that one can not have your personal data.
